The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), University of Jammu, has invited applications for admission to distance learning programs for the academic year 2026-27. The DDE offers over 35 undergraduate and postgraduate programs to students who cannot attend regular classes.
Popular distance education courses at JU include B.A. (Arts), B.Com, MBA, M.A. (English/Hindi/History/Political Science), M.Sc. (IT), and MCA. These programs are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and are accepted for all government and private sector jobs.
Eligibility & Fee Structure:
• B.A./B.Com: 10+2 pass, Fee: ₹3,200/year
• M.A. (Arts): Graduation in relevant subject, Fee: ₹4,500/year
• MBA: Graduation + CMAT/CAT score, Fee: ₹18,000/year
• MCA: B.Sc. with Mathematics, Fee: ₹16,000/year
Students admitted to distance programs will receive study material by post and can appear for examinations at JU examination centres across J&K. The last date to apply is October 15, 2026.
