The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched the PM-USHA (Prime Minister’s Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) Scholarship Scheme 2026 for meritorious undergraduate students from economically weaker sections. The scholarship provides ₹50,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years to eligible students.
The PM-USHA scholarship is available to students who scored 85% or above in Class 12 board examinations and whose family annual income is below ₹6 lakh. Students must be enrolled in full-time UG programs at NAAC A or A+ accredited colleges.

How to Apply: Applications for PM-USHA 2026 are open at the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in). Students must upload Class 12 mark sheet, income certificate, enrollment proof, and bank details. Last date to apply: October 31, 2026.
