The Government of India has released the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme, providing ₹2,000 each to over 9.5 crore eligible farmer families across India. In J&K, approximately 8.5 lakh farmers received the 19th installment in their bank accounts.
How to Check PM-KISAN 19th Installment Status:
1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in
2. Click “Beneficiary Status” on the homepage
3. Select “Aadhaar Number” or “Account Number”
4. Enter your details and click “Get Data”
5. Your payment status and transaction ID will be displayed
Farmers who are eligible but have not received the installment should check if their e-KYC is completed. e-KYC is now mandatory for PM-KISAN. It can be completed at pmkisan.gov.in or at the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre).
Common Reasons for Rejection:
• e-KYC not completed
• Aadhaar not linked to bank account
• Land records not updated in PM-KISAN database
• Name mismatch between Aadhaar and bank account
To rectify issues, farmers should visit the nearest Agriculture Department office or Patwari with Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and land documents. In J&K, the PM-KISAN helpline is 155261 or 1800-115-526 (toll-free).
