The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the provisional answer key for the Class 10th and 12th Annual Examinations 2026. Students who disagree with any answer in the provisional key can file an objection with supporting evidence.
Steps to Challenge JKBOSE Answer Key 2026:
1. Download the provisional answer key from jkbose.nic.in
2. Note the Question Number and the answer you believe is incorrect
3. Prepare supporting evidence (textbook page, reference, teacher certification)
4. Submit challenge form at jkbose.nic.in → “Answer Key Challenge”
5. Pay ₹300 per challenged question (refundable if challenge accepted)
A subject expert committee will review all challenges and the final answer key will be released within 2 weeks. Marks will be revised in the final result if any challenge is accepted.
Students should note that grammar-based questions in English, Hindi, and Urdu papers often have multiple acceptable answers. These are reviewed by a language expert panel rather than subject committee.
After review, if the challenge is successful, the ₹300 fee is refunded and the student’s marks are updated before result declaration. The entire process is transparent and final decisions of the expert committee are binding.
