Eligibility Criteria for NSP Scholarship 2023-24
NSP Pre-Matric Scholarship
- Eligibility- Students who have earned more than 50% of the possible points in their previous final exam and whose parents’ or guardians’ annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh will be eligible to receive scholarships.
- Scope- The scholarship will be given to students in classes I through X attending government or private schools in India.
- Scholarships will be awarded to minority community students enrolled in Classes I through X.
NSP Post Matric Scholarship
- Eligibility- Scholarships will be given to students who have completed a prior final exam with more than 50% of the possible points or a comparable grade and whose parents’ or guardians’ total yearly income does not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh.
- Scope- The scholarship must be used to study in an Indian higher secondary school, college, or university, whether a government or private institution. It will also include grades XI and XII technical and vocational courses, including polytechnics, at Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centers connected to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
- Students enrolled in Classes XI and XII, including this level of technical and vocational courses like Polytechnics, ITIs, and other courses, would be eligible for scholarships.

Required Documents for NSP Scholarship
Required Documents NSP Scholarship: Students must provide specific papers in order to complete the online scholarship application procedure on NSP. However, students do not need to upload documents if their scholarship costs less than INR 50,000. The copies of the documents must be turned in to the appropriate school, college, or institution. Step 2: Register with National Scholarship Portal (NSP)

Step 3: Logging in with National Scholarship Portal

- After logging in successfully, you will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.

- A link to update the password page will appear.

- After changing the password, you will be taken to the applicant’s dashboard page.
- To begin the application process, click “Application Form.”
- Complete all registration, academic, and personal information fields.
- Select “Save & Continue.”
