A research team from the Department of Computer Science at University of Jammu has developed an artificial intelligence-based model to predict agricultural crop yields in the Jammu & Kashmir region with over 92% accuracy.
The model uses satellite imagery and historical weather data to forecast wheat and paddy yields, which could help farmers plan their harvests more effectively.
The research was published in the international journal ‘Computers and Electronics in Agriculture’.
